Cedar Park police arrest, charge 2 with robbery
According to police 19-year-old Robert Anthony Ponce and 19-year-old Matthew Manuel Topete robbed a gas station at 2901 Brushy Creek Rd. at gun point on Tuesday. The store clerk said one man was armed with a hand gun and the other was armed with a shot gun.

Code violation notices flood S. Austin neighborhood
Seventy-six homeowners in the Fairview neighborhood in south Austin have received code violation notices. They city said proper permits were never filed for their garage conversions. Homeowners argue the change was made decades before they purchased the homes.

Progress on efforts to help Fort Hood shooting victims
Support for the victims of the Nov. 5 Fort Hood shootings has come in many different forms. Organizations like the Central Texas-Fort Hood Association of the U.S. Army have collected donations, and legislators have tried to do their part in making sure the victims received maximum benefits.
